Obituary for Loyd "L.C" Mabou
Mr. Loyd "L.C." Mabou, age 72, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at his home in Deville, surrounded by his loving family.
Services for Mr. L.C will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana, with Reverend Robbie Poole officiating. Friends are welcome to visit the funeral home from 9:00 AM until the time of service. The burial for Mr. L.C. will be held in Bradford Cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.
Mr. L.C Mabou was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He worked hard for over 30 years with Texas Gas Company where he retired as Station Supervisor. He enjoyed cooking and eating good food with family and friends. Mr. L.C was an avid outdoors man, enjoying hunting and spending time in God's creation. He will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Loyd Mabou and Marvyn Parker Mabou; and father-in-law, Wordy Paul. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 53 years, Sundra Paul Mabou; son, Scott Mabou and wife Karri; grandchildren, Blaine Mabou and wife Kayla; Kaylee Eppinette and husband Drake; sister, Judy Mabou Craig; and mother-in-law, Christina Paul.
Pallbearers honored to serve include Scott Mabou, Reggie Craig, Blaine Mabou, Drake Eppinette, Jason Jenkins, and Whitney Crooks. Honorary Pallbearers are Gary Paul, Richie Craig, Josh Craig, and Matt Craig.
