Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Lowell T. Floyd will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Ball, Louisiana under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory in Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Lowell T. Floyd, age 80 of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Monday, May 16, 2022 at his home in Pineville, Louisiana, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Floyd was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Floyd; his parents, Otis M. Floyd, Sr. and Ruth H. Floyd; his siblings, Linda Beasley and Otis M. Floyd, Jr.; and life companion, Gloria Bonnette.
He is survived by his loving children, Donna Voelker (Peter), and Dorothy Bordelon (Bennie); his devoted grandchildren, Austin Wilson, Chester Bordelon, Chelsea Bordelon, Christopher Bordelon, and Chase Bordelon; his great grandchildren, Preston Bordelon, and Isabella Bordelon; and his siblings, Sharon Horton, Jerry Floyd, and Dean Floyd; and his numerous nieces, nephews; other family and friends.
Lowell was a proud US Army Vietnam Veteran and an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing and gardening. Above all, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his grandkids and his friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
