Obituary for Loretta Kay Gallagher (Coutee)
Memorial services for Loretta Gallagher will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Gallagher Funeral Home with Reverend David Kimsey officiating. Visitation for Loretta will be from noon until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Gallagher Funeral Home.
Loretta Coutee Gallagher, age 61 a resident of Panama City Beach and a former resident of Alexandria, La passed away on December 17, 2020 in Panama City, Fl. Loretta was born to Albert E. Coutee and Earlene Coutee on January 20, 1959. She was a loving wife and mother, member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and an avid LSU and Saints fan. Loretta is preceded in death by her parents and her infant daughter Lori Coleen Gallagher. She is survived by her most loving husband, Michael D. Gallagher; her son, Sean Gallagher, who she doted over with much love; her fur-baby Peppy; two step-sons, Jason and Matthew Gallagher; two brothers, Thomas A. Coutee (Mariem) of Tioga, La and Reginald L. Coutee of Boyce, La.
Mike, who she lovingly referred to as "Big Daddy" and Loretta moved to Panama City Beach, Fl the day after Mike retired in October of 2015. They both loved the beach and would spend countless hours near the water with a refreshing cocktail. They were active with the VFW and she enjoyed spending time with her Sorority Sisters.
Family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
