Obituary for Lizzie Dee Crooks Belgard
Ms. Lizzie Dee Crooks Belgard, age 78, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.
Services for Ms. Belgard will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home at 9:00AM with Reverend Shane David officiating. The Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Gallagher Funeral Home from 5:00PM until 8:00PM. Burial will follow the service in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Ms. Belgard was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She was very devoted in her Faith and attended church online when she could no longer go in person. Ms. Belgard liked watching TV especially wrestling and soap operas. Her greatest joy was spending time with her kids, grandchildren, and her many dogs. She will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Joseph Crooks and Inez Mary Bordelon Crooks; and sister, Mary Anne Burnett.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Randy Belgard (Jodi) of Pineville; daughters, Tammy Williams (Steve) of Ball; brother, Frank Crooks (Elizabeth) of Alexandria; grandchildren, Joshua Belgard, Daniel Belgard (Allison), Jason Belgard, Stephanie Vargas (John), and Amanda Williams; great grandchildren, Makenzie Belgard and Scarlett Vargas; and a host of extended family and friends.
