Obituary for Lillian Louise Gordy (Glasscock)
Mrs. Lillian Louise Glasscock Gordy, age 79 of Pineville entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at The Oaks Care Center in Pineville, Louisiana.
Mrs. Gordy was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She loved to spend time with her family and was of the Baptist faith.
Louise was born on September 14, 1941 and was the oldest of six siblings. She was a homemaker for most of her life, although she did spend a number of years working in retail at Gus Kaplan and Weiss Goldring.
Mrs. Gordy was preceded in death by her parents, Benning and Dolores Glasscock; three brothers, Gerald Glasscock, James "Jim" Glasscock and John Glasscock; two sisters, Margaret Glasscock and Martha Glasscock.
Mrs. Gordy is survived by three children, Kim Gordy, Jennifer Gordy Bailey (Chuck) and Frank James Gordy; seven grandchildren, Victoria, Zachary, Courtney, Adam, Leyla, Zaynab and Yusuf; five great-grandchildren Cooper, Emmalynn, Raelynn, Roguelynn and Knox.
Mrs. Gordy will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
