Mr. Leo Odell Brossett, age 73, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternity on Friday, February 3, 2023 at his home.
Odell was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Alberta
Brossett.
He is survived by his loving children, Keith Brossett, Shea Brossett (Scott), and Lindsay Wood (Chaston); 7 grandchildren, Landyn Brossett McCloud, Korey Brossett, Matthew Brossett, Landri Brossett, Claylee Carpenter, Cole Wood, and Cody Wood; his great grandson, Emmett Holt; his siblings, Malcom Brossett, Elise Orr (Butch), Greg Brossett (Brenda), Tim Brossett (Toni), Curtis Brossett, Britt Brossett (Bridgette), and Jessie Brossett; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A 1968 graduate of Coulterville High School, Mr. Brossett was a retired tamper operator with Union Pacific Railroad. In his younger years, Odell enjoyed riding dirt bikes and dune buggies at the Burbee, as well as playing soft ball for the Emmanuel Spurs and the Outkast. In his later years, Odell’s passions were spending quality time with his grandchildren, family, and friends in the woods hunting and fishing. To know Odell was to love him. If he had a beer, so did you…if you had a beer, so did he, after all, it was probably your beer anyway.
The family would like to send thoughts and prayers to his extended family and many friends he made along the way.
