Obituary for Lela "Laverne" Fredieu (Moreau)
Mrs. Lela "Laverne" Moreau Fredieu, age 77, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 in Alexandria at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
Services for Mrs. Fredieu will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Hebron Baptist Church with Reverend Travis Sanders and Reverend Dick Debusk officiating, interment will be in Fairfield Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Mrs. Fredieu was preceded in death her parents, John and Hazal Moreau; siblings, John Moreau Jr., Charsey Matheny, CC Moreau, Paul Moreau, Ivy Moreau, and Memphis Moreau; and 4 grandbabies.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Gerald Fredieu; son, Lynn Fredieu (Jeannie); daughter, Paula Murphy (Tony); brother, Garrison Moreau (Tammy); sister, Delbra Deville (Wayne); grandchildren, Casey Murphy (Brittnee), Zachary Murphy, Hannah Fredieu, and Rebecca Murphy; 4 great grandchildren; and dog, Pennie.
Mrs. Fredieu was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed spending time outside either in her gardens or fishing. Mrs. Fredieu was devoted to her Lord and to her church, serving as Sunday School Teacher for over 40 years. She will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Casey Murphy, Zachary Murphy, Jody Moreau, Kerry Moreau, Gabriel Beeson, and Chad Deville.
