Obituary for Laura Elaine Miller Theiss
Mrs. Laura Elaine Miller Theiss, age 80, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Jena Nursing and Rehab.
The visitation for Mrs. Theiss will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Gallagher Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. The Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel with Pastor Bart Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her son, Acel Eugene Duhon; husband, Klaus Theiss; and parents, Clint Miller and Elise Johnson Miller.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Brenda Daniels (Billy), Katherine Basco (Mickey), and Denise Renee Duhon Dinnat; brothers, Jerry Miller (Jan) and David Miller (Joy); grandchildren, Jacob Daniels, Lauren Daniels, Kendale Maddox, Andrea Maddox, Dianna Dinnat, and Delaina Dinnat; and 4 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Theiss was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed fishing, tending to plants and flowers, and garage sales. Her great passion in life however, was traveling. Mrs. Theiss enjoyed driving all over the country seeing new places and adventures. She will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
