Graveside services for Laura Dear, 68 of Gardner, Louisiana, will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Nichols Family Cemetery in Gardner, Louisiana, followed by a reception for family and friends at Wilda Church. Arrangements entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel, Ball, Louisiana.
Laura Dear, passed away at her home on February 24 ,2022, surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her son, Jason Dear; her parents, H.S. Wiley and Merle Varnado; and her brother, Mike Wiley.
Laura is survived by her husband, Linn Dear; her daughter, Tigger Howell (Rodger); her three granddaughters, Alie, Candace, and Jayelyn; her two great grandchildren, Dax & Jason Wooley; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A beloved wife, mother, and nana, she enjoyed working in her flower beds, watching the cooking channel; and listening to her records while enjoying some wine. Above all, her passion was spending time with her family and friends, and she will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
