Obituary for Larry A. Baum
Funeral Services for Larry A. Baum will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM at New Friendship Baptist Church in Fishville, Louisiana with Reverend Lloyd Whitman officiating. Interment to follow at Clear Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery in Pollock under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 9:00 AM until service time at the church.
Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Tyrel Baum, Wesley Baum, Travis Baum, Trenton Baum, Trevor Baum, and Mike Bonner.
Mr. Larry A. Baum, age 68 of Pollock, Louisiana, entered eternity on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Colfax reunion Nursing and Rehab in Colfax, Louisiana.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Baum; his son, Christopher Nevels; and his parents, Alvin and Levada Baum.
He is survived by his daughter, Thea Ann Baum; his son, Tyrel A. Baum; his grandchildren, Hayden Taylor, Tyler Rabalais, Kollin Rabalais, and Jonathan Green; his brother, Wayne Baum (Janice); his long- time friend, Martha Woodhouse; nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Larry was a hard worker who worked with Red River Waterway as a Park Ranger. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to duck hunt, and he loved to fish. He enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle, and loved his church family at New Friendship Baptist Church in Fishville. He was a very kind person who had a heart of gold and was known to always be around to help others. A wonderful father, grandfather, brother, and friend, he will deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
