Funeral services for Kenneth “Ken” Roy will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory in Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Rick Gremillion officiating. Interment is to follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Pineville, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the funeral home.
Mr. Kenneth “Ken” Roy, age 69, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternity surrounded by his loved ones on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Joseph Roy and Janella Marie Bordelon Roy; and his brother, David Roy.
Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 48 years, Susan Falcon Roy; his loving children, Curtis Roy, and Ryan Roy; his devoted grandchildren, Krystina Roy, and Nicolas Roy; and his great grandson, Travis Johnson; his siblings, Allen Roy (Marsha), and Patsy Walker (Ellis); nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
An avid genealogist, Ken was a volunteer with the Alexandria Genealogical Library. Above all, his passion was spending quality time with his loving family. He will be missed by all those who had the honor of knowing and loving him.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Alexandria Genealogical Library.
