Obituary for Joycelyn Vance Rabalais
Ms. Joycelyn Faith Vance Rabalais, age 66, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 in her home in Pollock.
The Visitation for Ms. Rabalais will be held at Gallagher Funeral Home on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, with burial following in Tioga Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Vance and Dorothy Woodliff Vance.
Those left to cherish her memory include her life partner, Milton Dauzat; daughter, Melissa Brister (Richard); sons, Amos Graves (Allison), Jason Graves (Misty), and Jamie Vance; sisters, Bonnie Bennett and Carol Page; brothers, William Barham; grandchildren, Timothy Kline, Alyssa Tammen, Cayne Vance, Breyanna Klin-Maes, Raven Brister, Cody Graves, Nathan Graves, Devin Graves, Presley Graves, Emma Graves, Adaline Graves, and Miles Graves; great grandchildren, Karter Jewell, Kolton Jewell, and Grayson Tammen; and a host of extended family and friends.
Ms. Rabalais was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and life partner. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, shopping, and just spending time with her family. Ms. Rabalais dearly loved her family especially the grandkids, and will forever be missed by those that loved her.
