Obituary for Joyce Mabou Cole

Mrs. Joyce Lou Mabou Cole, age 86, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at her home in Deville, surrounded by her loving family.
Services for Mrs. Cole will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball with Dr. Steve Speer officiating. The visitation will be held on Monday at the Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow the service in Bradford Cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cole was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She took care of her family in any way she could and always told her family that she was part Native American Indian. She enjoyed flowers, crocheting, and tending to her garden. Mrs. Cole loved her family, especially the babies. She wanted to know how everyone was and what was happening in their lives. She believed in Jesus Christ and that she was going to Heaven. Mrs. Cole will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph S. Mabou and Mary Roberts Mabou; son, Rickey Cole; siblings, Glenda Hickman, and Joseph S. Mabou, Jr.; and grandson, Garrett Cole.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 65 years, Willis Cole; daughter, Gayle George (John); son, Randy Cole (Rene’); daughter-in-law, Karen Cole; brothers, Marvin Mabou (Vera) and Adam Mabou; sister, Mary Lois Paul; grandchildren, April Gill (Kory), Monica Daigrepont (Josh), Joseph Cole, David Cole, Matt George, and Jimmy George; great grandchildren, Hannah, Andrew, Zachary, and Mikahla; and a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers honored to serve are David Cole, Josh Daigrepont, Zachary Daigrepont, Kory Gill, Andrew Gill, and Matt George. Honorary Pallbearer is Joseph Cole.
