Obituary for Joyce Ann Wade Blackwood-Rylee
Memorial services for Ms. Joyce will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 5:00 pm, in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, La. Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm until time of service.
Joyce Ann Wade Blackwood-Rylee, age 77, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 in Alexandria at Rapides Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elwood Wade and Helen McCulley Wade; husbands, Walter Blackwood and Doug Rylee.
Those left to cherish her memory include daughter, Kristie Blackwood; grandchildren, Kylee Blackwood, Kennedy Blackwood, and Kevin "Kaine" Barber; sister, Mary Rose Richmond; and a host of extended family and friends.
Ms. Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved all animals, tending to her gardens, and cooking. Ms. Joyce enjoyed going to races. She will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
