Obituary for Joseph "Joe" Peppers
Memorial Services for Joseph “Joe” Peppers will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Midway Baptist Church, 11692 Highway 84 West, Jena, Louisiana with Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana in charge of arrangements. Interment to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jena, Louisiana.
A Memorial Visitation will take place from 12:00 Noon until service time at the church.
Mr. Joseph “Joe” Peppers entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Melinda “Bobo” Allen.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Chrystal Peppers; his loving son, David Greene; his devoted father, Toby Peppers (Jan); his cherished siblings, Loni Peppers, and Andrew Peppers; his nephew, James Greene; his niece, Lindsey Lee; other family and friends.
A true man of God, Joe had a devotion and love for his church. He was a proud US Army National Guard Veteran. Loved by all, Joe was always there to help with his many talents whether performing home repairs to just about anything else that needed done. He had a great sense of humor and a great personality, always quick to share a story or a joke to lift everyone’s spirits. Above all, he loved spending quality time with his loving family. A wonderful husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
