Obituary for Johnathan Lance Thomason
Funeral Service for Johnathan “Lance” Thomason will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Mars Hill Baptist Church, 1282 Mars Hill Church road, Atlanta, Louisiana with visitation from 11:00 AM until Service time under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory.
Mr. Johnathan “Lance” Thomason, age 42 of Pineville, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, Louisiana, surrounded by his devoted friends, Davey and Wanda Antee, Troy Mire and Matthew Antee.
Lance was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John Calvin Thomason Sr. and Delta Lea Thomason; his maternal grandparents, Ellamae and Sylvester Dubois.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Felicia Thomason; his children, Johnathan Matthew Thomason, John Collin Vaughn Thomason, Hayley Alexis Thomason, and McKinzley Ann Thomason; his grandchildren, Onnika Thomason, Novella Thomason, and Kurt Kaysen Thomason; his parents, John Calvin Thomason Jr. and Brenda Darlene Thomason; his sisters, Melinda Michelle Wise (John), and Tammy Darlene Marcum (James); numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Lance was a driller in the oil and gas industry who loved to fish. Above all, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Dawson "Big D" Williams, Davey "Neighbor" Antee, Troy "T-Roy" Mire, Wally "Brother-in-law" Marcum, Ethan "Big Boy" Clark, Justin "Otte" Otte, Stevie "Brother-in-law" Issac and Justin "JT" Nitz. Honorary pallbearers honored to serve are Jeremy Smith, Brandt Mixon, Justin Wise, Ron Thomason, Charles Issac, John Wise, Josh Wise, Tommy McCracken, Corby Williams, Todd Nitz, Brandon Barrett, Brett Waltermyer, Blake Waltermyer, and Nathan Mixon.
