Obituary for John Raymond "Punkin" Watson
Funeral services for Mr. John "Punkin" Watson will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana with Father Steve Brandow and Reverend Nathan Martin officiating. Burial will be in Bay Springs Cemetery, Chopin, Louisiana under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.
Visitation for Mr. Watson will be on Sunday February 7, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Watson was a loving husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law and friend. "Punkin" enjoyed spending times with his family, liked to hunt, play softball and shoot pistols. He worked for over 47 years as a master mechanic for Central Louisiana State Hospital. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
John Raymond Watson was born to Carl and Lela Salard-Watson on January 22, 1955 and went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father Carl, mother Lela, sisters Barbara Dennis and Brenda Lacombe.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 47 years, Conzy Watson; daughter Carla Watson-Sampson (Melvin); son Jonathan Watson (Halli) and one grandson, Carl Nathaniel Watson; God daughter, Crystal Lacombe and God sons Brandon Lacombe and Nathan Lacombe.
Pall bearers honored to serve are Jonathan Watson, Brandon Lacombe, Nathan Lacombe, James Mauritz, Elvis Defreese, Ryan Burton. Honorary Pallbearers are Carl Watson, Ryan Lacombe, Corbin Reed and Cameron Reed.
