Obituary for John Kyle Rodriguez

John "Kyle" Rodriguez passed away in his residence Saturday November 14,2020 with family members present.
He was remembered in a private memorial service on Sunday, November 15.

Kyle is the son of Dr. E.F. Rodriguez (deceased) and Tish Rodriguez Babin of Alexandria.
He is survived by his sisters Chris Wright (Kevin) of Murfressboro TN, Stacey Rodriguez of Baton Rouge, Patti Fresina (Paul) of Baton Rouge, Olga Bakies (Kelly) of Alexandria, Jan Bordelon (Mike) of Alexandria and one brother Jack Rodriguez (Alice) of Dry Prong and 6 nephews and 3 nieces.

He attended Poland High School, LSUA, LSU and ICSC and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral.
Kyle's career spanned 35+ years in shopping center marketing where he achieved the MAXI award (a prestigious award in the industry) and numerous others in the field.

He returned to Alexandria after living in Baton Rouge for 28 years to be closer to family and friends and to be closer to his work in Shreveport/Bossier where he assisted in the opening of the Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City.

Kyle was an avid pet lover and a friend to everyone. He enjoyed attending many LSU football and basketball games over the last 40 years. He enjoyed serving breakfasts at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral.
