Funeral services for Jason Dale McNeely will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Pastor Beau Edwards officiating. Interment to follow at Pleasant Grave Methodist Church Cemetery in Pineville, Louisiana.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Sammy McNeely, Billy Hadwin, Larry Frazier, Brock Tyson, Justin McGlothlin, and Mike Larkins.
Visitation for Mr. McNeely will be on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 beginning at 9:00 AM until service time at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana.
Jason Dale McNeely, 43, of Ball, Louisiana entered to eternal life in heaven on Saturday, March 19, 2022, following a lengthy illness at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. McNeely is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lottie Huffman Cross and Arnold Cross; and his paternal grandparents, Clara Hogue McNeely and Hardy McNeely.
Loved ones left to cherish his memory are his mother, Kathy Cross DeSoto; his father, Donald McNeely (Gail); his brother, Sammy McNeely; his sister, Leanna McNeely Nugent (Shelton); his step- sisters, Angela Coster (Neil), and Amy Ryder (Chad); his nieces, Kaylie McNeely, Alissa McNeely, Rachel Richey, and Olivia Nugent; his nephew, Dylan Richey; other family and friends.
Jason will be remembered for his love of family and friends. Also, for his passion for music, especially the guitar. He enjoyed get togethers with his friends, cooking out, and great conversations. He adored his nieces and nephews and was very proud of their many accomplishments. Admired for his unwillingness to let his condition dictate his life, Jason was always known to say of himself, “I am not handicapped, I just can’t walk.” He was a true fighter, who never gave up. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
