Obituary for James Robert Miller
Mr. James "Jimmy" Robert Miller, age 56 of Alexandria, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Friday, January 13, 2023.
A memorial visitation for Jimmy will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Gallagher Funeral Home.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his grandparents, Murel and Amy Miller; mother, Mamie Miller; father, James Miller; and a brother, Donald Bowers.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Carla Miller (Brad); his grandchildren, Carson, Marlee and Adam; his sisters, Cheryl Miller Charrier (Michael) and Jackie Flynn (Chris); nieces and nephews, Troy, Daniel, Sarah, Chris, Brandon, Courtney, Joey, Wesley, Brittany, Aaron, Todd, Theresa and Summer; and a host of other family and friends.
Jimmy enjoyed hunting and fishing and playing video games with the kids. He was known as the "favorite uncle". He had everyone's kids all the time and really enjoyed having them around all the time. He spent a great deal of his life just helping other people. He was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
