Obituary for James Arnold McLain
Mr. James Arnold McLain, age 77, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at his residence in Montgomery, Louisiana.
The family will have a private gathering to celebrate Mr. McLain's life, at a later date.
Mr. James enjoyed spending time on the lake fishing for white perch and bream. He worked for Valero oil refinery for 30 years, as a welder then a foreman. He liked to read later in life, but his greatest time was spent being with family. Mr. James will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert Richard McLain and Clydell Walker McLain.
Those left to cherish his memory include his step-son, Jason Vercher (Amanda); brothers, Melvin McLain (Margie), Walter McLaine (Julia), and Donald McLain (Susie); sisters, Linda Skinner, Betty Langley (Lewis), Sharon White (Don), and Janet Crew (Danny); step-grandchildren, Maddi and Magnolia; numerous nieces and nephews.
