Funeral services for James Boyd Karas will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at Open Door Community Church, 12960 LA-28, Deville, Louisiana with Reverands Norman Youngblood, Carl Gulde, and Michael Luty officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment to follow at Tidwell Landing Cemetery, Jena, Louisiana. Arrangements entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory in Ball, Louisiana. James Boyd Karas was born on February 21, 2021 and entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, David Raymond Sims and his great grandfather, William Boyd Rodney. He is survived by his parents, Kristian Marie Karas and Steven James Sims; his grandparents, Mary Karas and John Karas, Jr., and Joni Lane Simmons and Keith Simmons; and his great grandmother, Patricia Rodney; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
