Memorial services for James Alejandro will be held at a later date under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
James Alejandro, age 73, of Montgomery, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 30, 2022 at his residence in Montgomery, Louisiana.
Mr. Alejandro is preceded in death by his father, Harry Alejandro; his mother,
Julia Wilson Alejandro; and his brother, Thomas Lee Alejandro.
He is survived by his brother, Rene Alejandro and his wife, Shelly Alejandro of Sherman, Texas; their sons, Cory Alejandro of Bellevue, Illinois and Brian Alejandro Sr. and his wife, Meghean and their son, Brian Alejandro Jr. and their daughter, Hailley Alejandro of Lecompte, Louisiana. He is also survived by his cousin, Virginia Alejandro of Delano, California, whom he cared for like a sister.
Born October 28, 1948, James retired from LSU-A, after working for forty years, in 2006. He spent his retirement going to the Pit Grill, especially for breakfast, and to the Shipley Do-Nuts shop to have a cup of coffee and visit with other long-time customers. He was always proud of having a well-kept yard, and worked hard to keep it up. He lived his entire life in the Lecompte community, and was known by a great many residents there and in surrounding communities. We will all miss him.
