Graveside services with Military Honors for Mr. Huey Richardson will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Jena Cemetery, Highway 84 in Jena, Louisiana with Reverend Blaine Ussery officiating. Mr. Richardson, age 93, entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Mr. Richardson was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Mr. Richardson worked as a foreman for a natural gas company, served in the US Navy and loved to hunt.
Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by his parents, Hardy and Rosa Richardson; a son, Huey Dennis Richardson and a grandson, Ron Ryder.
Mr. Huey Richardson is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Dorothy Richardson; two daughters, Carla Ryder (Ronald) and Teresa Richardson Mandola; one grandson, Matt Ryder, four great-grandchildren, Riley Ryder, Alex Ryder, Andrew Ryder and Mason Ryder and a host of friends.
