Funeral services for Helen Guillory Filasek will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Llyod Bye officiating. Interment will follow in the Libuse Czech Cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be, Jerry Morgan, Gavin Filasek, Michael Filasek, Paul Filasek, Chris Filasek, and Josh Ryder.
Visitation for Mrs. Filasek will be on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball.
Mrs. Helen Guillory Filasek, age 90, a 42 -year resident of Woodworth, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at her daughter's residence in Pineville, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Filasek is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Filasek; her parents, Jervis and Alice Guillory; her siblings, Melvin Guillory, Clyde Guillory, Marguerite Foreman, Toni Deshotel, Jarine Everette, Doris Saucier, and Judy Merwin.
She is survived by her loving children, Johnny Filasek, Larry Filasek (Brenda), Vicky Ryder, Randy Filasek (Jody), and Tammy Morgan (Buddy); her devoted grandchildren, Paul Filasek (Autumn), Chris Filasek (Laura), Michael Filasek (Cassy), Melanie Filasek (DeWayne Lee), Jake Ryder, Josh Ryder (Kim), Gavin Filasek (Sommer), Shonda Morgan, and Jerry Morgan; her 14 great grandchildren; her 9 great great grandchildren; her numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A wonderful cook, Helen loved to shop and visit the casino. Above all, her passion was spending quality time with her grandchildren and family who she loved dearly. A wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
