Obituary for Harley Wayne Dickess
Mr. Harley Wayne Dickess, age 67 of Dry Prong, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Rapides Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. Arrangements are entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Zion Hill Baptist Church of Williana with Reverend Chuck Evans officiating.
Mr. Dickess was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a talented auto mechanic and enjoyed anything to do with racing. He will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin Dickess and Gladys Bowman Dickess; daughter, Angie Jones; granddaughter, Briana Dickess; brothers, Jim and Don Dickess.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving spouse of 35 years, Laura Dickess; sons, Larry Dickess (Ann) and David Dickess; daughters, Mandy Futrell (Rocky) and Michelle Walters; sisters, Marcella DeLong, Ruth Stephenson, and Nancy Johnson; 12 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
