Obituary for Gerald Wayne Willett
Mr. Gerald Wayne Willett, age 62, entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at his residence in Dry Prong. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home.
Services for Mr. Willett will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the First Baptist Church of Dry Prong. The visitation will begin at the church at 10:00 AM.
Mr. Gerald Willett was a loving father, brother, and grandfather. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force before retiring and working for Tax Assessors Office in Colorado. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family. Mr. Willett will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Garvis Willett and Eunice Merlene Hudnell; daughter-in-law, Yvonne Willett; and grandson, Scott Willett.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Benjamin Garvis Willett and Dakota Trump; daughters, Carrie Duda and Autumn Mist Willett (Andre); daughter-in-law, Brenda LaBorde; brothers, William Willett, Jr. (Connie Sue) and James W. Willett; sister, Theresa Oliver (Mitch); grandchildren, Gabriel, Katherine, Zachary, Nicholas, and Alexis; and a host of extended family.
