Obituary for George Ambers Goodger
Mr. George Goodger, age 56 of Pollock, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Monday, February 14, 2022. Arrangements are entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory.
Services for Mr. Goodger will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home with Reverend Wes Shirley officiating. Interment will follow the services in Big Creek Cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
He was preceded in death by his father, Julius Goodger; maternal grandparents, Mary and Hoyt Henderson; and paternal grandparents, Dave and Rosalee Goodger.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Hoyt Goodger (Brittany) and Jackson Goodger; daughter, Emma Goodger; mother, Marjorie Henderson Goodger (Pete Breithaupt); brothers, Steve Goodger (Connie) and Wain Goodger (Barbara); granddaughter, Amber Goodger; and a host of extended family and friends.
Mr. Goodger was a loving father, son, brother, and grandfather. He proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps. He was a gun collector and enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with family. Mr. George Goodger will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
