Memorial services for Gayle Norman Waggener will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 26, 2022, with Reverend Larry Pasley officiating at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the funeral home.
Gayle Norman Waggener, age 88, of Ball, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family in Ball, Louisiana.
Gayle is preceded in death by his parents, George and Eunice Waggener.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley Spann Waggener; his loving children, Darrell Waggener (Angela), Marlon Waggener, and Faith Waggener Vernon (Charles); his grandchildren, Zachary Waggener, Nathan Vernon, Devin Hinton (Chad), Parker Vernon (Lacey), Tiffani Waggener, Adrienne Waggener, and Andreanna Waggener; his great grandchildren, Tinsley Todd, Drake Vernon, Millie Vernon, Colton Whitman; other family, and friends.
Gayle was a retired Tech Sergeant with the US Air Force following 20 years of honorable service. After retirement he worked offshore, and with the food service at the VA. He loved the outdoors from an early age, and he loved to garden, and work with his hands.
A kind and gentle man, Gayle was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
