Obituary for Gary Ray Edmonson
Funeral services for Mr. Gary R. Edmonson will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bennie Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will be in Pollock Cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home of Ball, Louisiana.
Visitation for Mr. Edmonson will be on Tuesday evening, May 3, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Edmonson entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Christus ST. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria surrounded by his loving family.
Gary, an automobile mechanic by trade, was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Mr. Edmonson was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruthie Edmonson; two brothers, Robert and Dennis Edmonson and his sister, Debbie Whitstine.
Gary Edmonson is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Molly Edmonson; two daughters, Amanda Hollingsworth and husband, Joshua and Melissa Moras; four grandchildren, Ashton Hollingsworth, Ryan Dasko, Sara Hollingsworth and Kaylee Moras; a sister, Pat Smith and husband, Stephen and three brothers, James Edmonson, Tommy Edmonson and wife, Amy and Hilton Edmonson and wife Tena.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Brandon Lacombe, Nathan Lacombe, Bubba Edmonson, Joe Edmonson, Stephen Smith, Jr. and Bobby Guillot. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Joseph Edmonson and Christian Guillot.
