Obituary for Floyd G. "Bobo" Dunn
Funeral services for Mr. Floyd G. "Bobo" Dunn, Sr. will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Danny George officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana.
Visitation for Mr. Dunn will be from 12:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Gallagher Funeral Home.
Mr. Dunn entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Dunn was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. A 1959 graduate of Boyce high school, Mr. Dunn was an owner/operator of Floyd Dunn Plant Hauling for many years . He retired from trucking in 2011.
Mr. Dunn was preceded in death by his son, Floyd "Greg" Dunn, Jr.; his parents, James and Jessie Dunn and a brother, Charles Dunn.
Mr. Dunn is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gail Bolton Dunn; a daughter, Stacy Dunn McCain (Joe); a son, James Rodney Dunn; nine grandchildren, Gregory Bryant (Amber), Melissa Head (Michael Rougeau), Brandy Morace (Matt), Krysta Roberts (Johnathan), Garett Dunn, Kaylan Dunn, Joseph McCain, Jessica DeLoach (Daniel) and Maeghan George; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Walker and two brothers, Leslie Dunn (Myrna) and Wayne Dunn (Pam).
Pallbearers honored to serve are Gregory Bryant, Garett Dunn, Joseph McCain, Johnathan Roberts, Michael Rougeau and Grady Nolan Bolton.
