Private Family Celebration of Life Services for Edward Jerome “ Tunie “ Bordelon will be held at a later date under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Edward Jerome “ Tunie “ Bordelon, age 80, of Alexandria, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at his residence in Alexandria.
Mr. Bordelon is preceded in death by his wife, Gerlene Bordelon; his daughter, Tammy Edwards; his parents, Laney and Annie Lou Bordelon; and his siblings, Chester Bordelon, Lubby Bordelon, and Doris Taylor.
He is survived by his loving children, Rhonda Matthews (John), and Tony Bordelon (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jessie Edwards, Michael Edwards (Brittany), Taylor Matthews (Kyla), Hunter Matthews, Tori Finch (Dalton), Grant Starrett (Paige), and Coby Bordelon; his 10 great grandchildren; his siblings, Ruth Rusk, Carolyn Boney (Mike), Judy Mahfouz, Betty Glenn, and Junior Bordelon; his numerous, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
An avid outdoorsman, Tunie loved hunting and fishing. He was very talented with his hands, and he could fix and build anything. Above all, he loved spending quality time with his family, always ready with a joke or story. He will forever be missed by those that knew and loved him.
