Obituary for Dorothy Giroir Anderson
Mrs. Dorothy Lynn Giroir Anderson, age 66, entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 26, 2021 in Alexandria at Rapides Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Anderson will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Father Gremillion officiating. The visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Lynn Anderson; parents, Wilmer Giroir and Nela Wardell Giroir; brother, Charles Ray Giroir; granddaughter, Jasmine Anderson; and great grandchildren, Audrey and CJ Chelette.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Phillip Anderson (Michelle) of Pollock; brother, Maxie Giroir (Lorraine) of Houma; sister, Patsy Harris (Stephen) of Lafayette; grandchildren, Garrett Anderson, Gavyn Anderson, Phillip, Jr., Myra Anderson; nieces, Karla Spinella (Stephen) and Tracey Pellerin (Corey); nephew, Jason Bagwell (Stephanie); and a host of extended family and friends.
