Obituary for Donna H. Seales

Donna Haymon Seales, age 75, was promoted from this life on Friday, April 19, 2024 in Alexandria, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family.

Homegoing services for Donna will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at The Pentecostals of Alexandria with Bishop Anthony Mangun officiating. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until time of service on Tuesday.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, John Ike Seales, and her parents, J.Y. Haymon and Clarice Haymon.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving children, Tami Oliver (Doug), and Jodi Parker (Shaun); her adoring grandchildren, Lauren, Kaitlyn, Ashley, Nikki, Blake, Bentley, Londen, Michael, Cam, and Carter; her six great grandchildren, Liv, Henry, Waylon, Lawrence, Haven, and Kason; her siblings, Joan Starrett (Ronnie), Barbara Sanders (Michael), and Tina Gates (Brent); her nieces and nephews; the Mallette family and friends.

Donna loved life and loved people. She was always ready for adventure and traveled often, including frequent trips to Ireland. Her fun nature resulted in life-long friends wherever she went. Her great loves included Jesus, her John Ike, and Elvis. Donna was a natural caregiver who loved the most vulnerable within our community, including both the young and elderly. In countless ways, her ministry was lived out in private where she took care of those in need without any recognition. Above all else, she was most proud of her family, always there for every milestone and eager to make memories together.

Pallbearers will include a few of her favorite hunk-a-munks, Jason Covey, Blake Gray, Londen Gray, Michael Parker, Mark Sanders, and Wade Wells. Honorary Pallbearers are Neil Horn, Benjamin Sanders, Randy Starrett, and Rodney Starrett.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to Tupelo Children’s Mansion, which Donna faithfully supported.
