Obituary for Donald Foster
Mr. Donald Foster, age 89, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 in Alexandria at the Regency House.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in Alexandria Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Mary Foster; 2 siblings, and one grandson. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Donald Foster (Cindy); daughters, Debbie Woodruff, Doreen Foster, Diane Tracy, Denise Kelso (Ben); brother, Tucker Foster; granchildren, Andrew Mestas, Regina Aarant (Chris), Angela Points (Jackie), Lacy Wiley, Wesley Foster (Cindy), Robert Goynes, Chasity Amy, Jessica Tracy, Kristy Tracy, Devin Kelso (Morgan), and Emily Kelso; 32 great granchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Mr. Donald was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing and playing golf. He retired after over 20 years of service to his country, from the Air Force. The Air Force took him all over the word, 3 tours in Vietnam and also to Korea. He lived and worked for several years in Saudi Arabia as an advisor. He also loved his dog, Sam. Mr. Donald will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
