Funeral services celebrating the life of Dianna Lynn Simmons will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Wayside Baptist Church, Pollock, Louisiana, with Reverend Kevin Simmons officiating. Visitation for Mrs. Simmons will be from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Ball, Louisiana. Mrs. Simmons, age 74 of Ball, Louisiana entered eternal rest peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2021 at Rapides medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Elton Simmons and Alzadie Simmons; her sister, Helen Taylor; her grandson, Matthew White, Jr.; and her great grandson, Mason White. She is survived by her children, Rhonda White, Terri Risner, and Jerri Karisny (John); her 4 grandchildren, Kayla Price (Corey), Darlene Weidner (Brent), Shelbi Karisny, and John Curtis Karisny; her 4 great grandchildren, Brayleigh Weidner, Alivia Price, Emory Weidner, and Ethan Price; her sister, Sandra Ussery (Jerry); and a host of nephews, nieces, other family and friends. Dianna was a former waitress at Stalnaker’s Restaurant and was retired form Ryan’s Steak House in Pineville, Louisiana. More than anything else, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her family. A loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
