Obituary for Diane C. Chandler (Craig)

Mrs. Diane C. Chandler, age 75 of Dry Prong, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Arrangements are entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Services for Mrs. Chandler will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 12:00PM until the time of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arver Earl Craig, Sr. and Dewina Rogers Craig; great granddaughter, Merrick Shay Worthy; sister-in-law, Donna Craig; and uncle, Clyde Craig.

She is survived by her husband, Lynn Chandler; her sons,Mike Olano (Devie), adopted Michael Monty Olano and Lenee Madison Olano; her daughters, Allison Marler (Brandon), Amy Hinton, and Malyssa Chandler; her grandchildren, Kayleigh Marler (Ivan), Devin and Laci Rambo, Keefer and Meagan Marler, Peyton and Paige Marler, Micah and Michael Worthy, Lenee and Michael Olano, Carson and Callie Hinton, Aubrey Cherie Chandler, and Madison Burns; her great grandchildren, John Micheal and Matthew Ryan, Rambo and Maverick Lee Worthy; and her brothers, Arver Earl Craig Jr. and Phillip Craig.

Diane was the first female loan officer in Cenla, a Registered Nurse where she scored perfect on her nursing boards, seamstress, and Notary.

She was a member of the Chamber of Commerce. She was a teller and eventually a Vice President with Guaranty Bank and Bank of Commerce. A strong Christian, Diane was a faithful member of Word of Grace Church. She enjoyed doing puzzles and reading books, but more than anything, spending time with her grandchildren that she loved so much.
