Obituary for Destiny Marie Collins
Destiny Marie Collins, age 14, entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 7, 2022 in Pollock, Louisiana.
Services for Destiny will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 2:00 pm, the church will be open at 11:00 am, at NOW Church in Dry Prong with Reverends Micah Murrell and Ron Nation officiating. The visitation will be held the night before at the church from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Interment will follow the services in Alexandria Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her grand and great grandparents, Ricky Hayes, Leonard and Mabel Oxner, Anthony and Gladys Schindler, Sam and Toni Holt, Elvy Gene Deville; and uncles, Jeffery Hall and Brian Collins.
Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Nicole Hayes (Sean Davis); father, Cody Collins (Heather Fitzhugh); sisters, Caitlyn Jowers, Madison Carter, Emma Collins, and Laniee Arnold; brothers, Ethan Gillette and Blaine Collins; grandparents, Bill and Kim Collins, Linda Ladd, David "Bubba" Walker and Cindy Walker, and Beatrice Collins; aunts and uncles, Chris Oxner, Zachary Hayes (Rudy), Becky Walker (James), Missy Perry(Jimmy), Patrick Panzica(Melony), and Casey Collins(Lacy); and numerous extended family and friends.
Destiny was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, shopping with sisters, and making TikToks. She was in the JROTC at her school and a camel rider with the Shriners Club. Destiny had a great sense of humor and loved to be with family and friends. She will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
