Obituary for Derek Wayne Sharp
Graveside services for Derek Wayne Sharp will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Big Creek Cemetery in Pollock, Louisiana with Adam Wright officiating.
Derek W. Sharp, age 45 was born August 9, 1975 and died November 19, 2020 at his residence where he left this earth to be with his son (Daxton Zayne Sharp).
He is survived by his mother Patricia T. Mitchell of Pollock, his father Jerry Wayne Sharp and Step-mother Beverly Sharp of Brookhaven, MS.; one brother, Adam Davis (Ellen) of Pineville; three sisters, Shanda Foster and Angela Davis of Pollock and Aubri Davis (Cody) of Pineville; two step-sisters, Kathy Townsend of Jackson, MS and Elizabeth Ruff (James); one step-brother, Josh Townsend (Lindsey) of Washington, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, his best friend Bailey and too many friends to count.
He is preceded in death by his infant son, Daxton Zayne Sharp; step-father, Robert G. Mitchell, Sr.
Derek will be laid to rest with graveside services at 2:00 p.m. at Big Creek Baptist Church Cemetery on November 24, 2020. All relatives and friends are invite to attend.
