Obituary for Deborah Jean Taylor (Montgomery)
Mrs. Deborah Taylor, age 63, entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 17, 2020 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Services for Mrs. Taylor will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana. Burial will follow the service in Frazier Cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home. The visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Deborah Montgomery Taylor was born May 30, 1957, to Steve & Eugenia Montgomery in Alexandria, LA. She and her five siblings spent their childhood with their parents in the mission field of Brazil. Deborah returned to Louisiana to graduate high school and attend college. She married Donald Taylor at the age of twenty and then spent her life dedicated to her four children, ten grandchildren (along with any other child who wanted to call her “Grandma”), serving the Lord, her church family and many others. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her most.
She was preceded in death by her children, James Bradley Taylor and Stephanie Ann Taylor; and mother, Eugenia Montgomery.
Deborah is survived by her husband of 42 years, Donald Taylor; her daughter, Amanda Taylor; three sons, Erik Taylor (Amanda), Mark Taylor and Brent Taylor; father, Steve Montgomery; a sister, Rebekah Brogli (Marty); four brothers, David Montgomery (Isabel), Tim Montgomery (Kathy), Mike Montgomery (Laura) and Steven Montgomery .
