Memorial Visitation for Mrs. Sims will be on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until service time at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mrs. Sims entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at her home in Ball, Louisiana surrounded by her loving family.
Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Onieda Boyd Sartin; siblings, Shirley Jean Sartin, Violet Delois Bettevy, Ronald Russell Sartin, and Donald Howard Williams.
Mrs. Sims is survived by her beloved children, Kathleen Sims, and Alexander Sims; her precious grandchild on the way, Artemis Grimes; her brother, Harvey Wayne Cook; her husband, Jeremy Sims; her numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She enjoyed garage sales, going to the casino, and most of all spending quality time with her friends and family that she loved so much. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
