Obituary for Dalton Alexander Henagan

Funeral services for Dalton Alexander Henagan will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Gallagher Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Nathan Martin officiating. Burial with Military honors will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory.
Visitation for Mr. Henagan will be on Sunday, May 9, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Henagan entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Bernice Henagan,; daughter, Shawn Hill; daughter in law, Deanna Henagan; two brothers, Waldon Henagan and Gerald Henagan.

Mr. Henagan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp and worked for the US Postal Service, retiring after 35 years of service. Mr. Henagan loved his family, loved to hunt, fish, camp and pick Mahaws. His adventures also include building a three decker boat (Rio Rouge) and sailing it down to the Mighty Mississippi ( Pictures to follow during the visitation).

Mr. Henagan is survived by his wife of 38 years, Brenda S. Henagan; two daughters, Paige H. Wall (Bob) and Shannon Price (Mike); four sons, Mark Henagan, Mike Henagan (Cindi), Patrick Henagan (Brittany) and Jamar Descant (Cassidy); a sister, Norma Jean Molan; brother Chester Henagan (Crystal) ; 21 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren (and 1 on the way) and his Maltese "Muffin" aka "Little Girl".
