Mr. Clifford Riley “Cliff” Kelley was called home on March 9, 2022 in Pineville, Louisiana. He was gifted to the world on November 8, 1936 in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Clifford was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Helen Berlin Kelley; his daughter, Judith Ann “Judy” or “Sissy” Kelley; his parents, Clifford Clyde Kelley and Gussie Evelyn McQueen Kelley Gardner; his step-father, William Gardner; and his brother, William Lamar “Booty” Kelley.

Clifford will be sadly missed by his wife, Debra “Debbie” Sperry Kelley, of Pineville; his 2 daughters, Karen Kay Kelley Snow (Johnny) of Woodworth and Britteny Rilee Kelley Adams (Ben) of Baton Rouge; his 2 sons, Kevin Lamar Kelley of Alexandria, and Brandon Rhuel Kelley of Pineville; his 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; his sister, Judith Marie Kelley Sanchez (Eugene) of Baton Rouge; his numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Clifford Kelley was a good baseball man. He had a passion for baseball and coached his son Kevin all his life. He coached and mentored many young men in our area. First in the Cenla Civitan Leagues and then in the Dixie Major Boys Leagues. He took his teams to All Stars in District, State and World Series Events too many times to count. He loved his family, and he loved his church and God! He grew up in Trinity Methodist Church and went to First United Methodist Church of Pineville for over 40 years. He gave so much of his time and energy to his church. He retired from Sayes Office Supply at the age of 80 years old. And anyone who knew Cliff knew that he had the gift of story- telling. On any given subject, you were definitely going to know more than you needed to know after that conversation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Louisiana Methodist Children’s home in Ruston or The Alzheimer’s Association in memory of his daughter Judy.
