Obituary for Clemmie E. Lonidier
Memorial services for Clemmie E. Lonidier will be held on Wednesday, august 18, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at HIS Church in Pineville, Louisiana with Dr. Steve Speer officiating. Memorial Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana.
Mr. Clemmie E. Lonidier, age 82, entered eternal rest on Friday, August 13, 2021 in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Mr. Lonidier is preceded in death by his son, John Keith Lonidier; his step-son, Timothy Parkins; his parents, Gillis and Josephine Lonidier; his brother, Gillis “Sonny” Edward Lonidier; and his sister, Joanne Lonidier .
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jo Lavern Lonidier; his children, Warren Lonidier (Laura), Cynthia Wooten, Glen Parkins (Sheila), and Adean Fitzpatrick; his 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; his siblings, Louise Herron, Gerry Lonidier, Lonnie Lonidier (Ramona), and Hershel Lonidier; his numerous, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Clemmie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. A proud US Air Force Veteran, he was an heavy equipment operator for Cleco. A 32nd degree Mason, he was an avid classic car enthusiast and gardener. Most of all, his passion was spending time with his family and friends. He will forever be missed by those that knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
