Obituary for Christy Lee Bailey
Ms. Christy Lee Bailey, age 42, entered eternal rest on Monday, August 8, 2022 in Winn Parish. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home.
The Visitation for Christy will be held Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Northside Baptist Church in Montgomery from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The service will follow the next day at 10:00 a.m. in the church with Reverend Chuck LaCroix officiating. Interment will be in Summerfield Baptist Church cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gene and Sadie Racine and L.C. and Sammie Bailey; and brother-in-law, Andy Evans.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Destiny Ferrier, Laken Carrera, and Vernon Carrera; grandchildren, Ethan Ferrier, Adam Ferrier, Michael Carrera, Presilla Carrera, and Eli Carrera; parents, William Bailey and Linda Pinder; brothers, David Bailey and Jason Bailey (Bridgette); sisters, Tulena Francis, Chasity Ferrier, and Misty Evans; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Christy dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She also had a big heart for stray animals and would rescue any that she found. She always had a good attitude and a big smile. Christy will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
