Obituary for Christopher Logan O'Brien

Funeral Services for Christopher Logan O’Brien will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 8, 2022 with a Visitation from 9:00 AM until service time at Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel, Ball, Louisiana.

Christopher Logan O’Brien, age 28, of Wichita Falls, Texas entered eternal life on Thursday, September 29, 2022 in Wichita Falls, Texas, surrounded by his loving family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Candace Renee Wilson; his brother, Michael Fallon O’Brien; his grandfathers, Don Paul Laborde, and Joseph Franklin Wilson; his great grandmother, Eola Mae Gauthier-Lucas.

He is survived by his parents, Christopher Michael O’Brien and Candy Yvette O’Brien; his siblings, Lakyn Renee O’Brien, James Skylar O’Brien, and Lacy Jane O’Brien; his grandparents, Michael Francis O’Brien, Shirley Jean O’Brien, Carolyn Ann Lucas, Carrie Jane McNeal, and Jeanne Laborde; his great grandfather, Clifford Joseph Lucas; numerous other relatives, and friends.

Logan was born on April 29, 1994, in Alexandria, Louisiana. A proud US Navy Veteran, he served as a Master at Arms K-9 handler. In effort to continue his service to his country, he had just joined the Texas Army National Guard to become a helicopter pilot. An avid outdoorsman, Logan enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a lover of music, concerts, video games, horror movies, horses, mustangs, 4- wheel drive trucks and motorcycles. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. A wonderful, son, brother, grandson, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Fisher House Foundation, a housing foundation for visiting family members of hospitalized veterans throughout the country, in Logan's memory.
