Obituary for Cherylee Frances Hooper
Mrs. Cherylee F. Hooper, age 58, of Alexandria, LA, entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, LA.
Services for Mrs. Hooper will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Pine Grove Baptist Church. The visitation will begin at 9:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow the service at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hooper was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved all animals but enjoyed watching the birds fly in and out of her yard. She was fond of hummingbirds and the dove that she befriended named Blacky. She will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Hicks and Shirley Roberts Hicks; and siblings, Billy Hicks, Bobby Hicks, Homer "Buddy" Hicks, Jr.; Kenneth Hicks, and Margaret Hicks.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, John Hooper; step-son, David Hooper (Jill); daughters, Kimberly Ware (Timothy) and Lacey Martin; brother, Michael Hicks (Janice); and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
