Obituary for Charles Edward Sweat
Mr. Charles Edward Sweat, age 54, entered eternal rest on Monday, June 26, 2023 in Alexandria at Rapides Regional Medical Center. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William James Sweat and Carmen Woodruff Sweat; step-father, John Smith; and brother, Randy Sweat.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Virginia Kay Sweat; sons, Nicholas Sweat (Leaza), Corey Brossette, Christopher Sweat, and Gage Sweat; grandchildren, Skyler and Jameson Sweat; brother, Earl Sweat, in-laws, Frank and Nancy Bruno; nephew, JW Sweat; sister in law, Janet Johnson Sweat; and a host of extended family and friends.
Mr. Charles was and avid outdoorsman, enjoyed fishing, LSU football, and NASCAR. He loved his family and friends and will forever be missed.
