Charles "Buck" Lamar LaParie, age 62, entered eternal rest on March 26, 2021 in Effie, LA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory.
Services for Mr. Charles will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Larto Baptist Church at 10:00AM. The visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 5:00PM until the time of service the next day.
Charles "Buck" LaPrarie worked hard in the oil field and as a farmer. He greatly enjoyed spending time outside hunting and fishing. He had unconditional love for his wife and family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mandy Jean LaPrarie and father Jesse Dooley LaPrarie; great granddaughter, Riley Bell Price; great nephew, Brian Zane Blalock.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 25 years, Janice M. LaPrarie; daughters, Amanda Jeann LaPrarie and Lacey Jo Pierce; son, Lamar Thomas LaPrarie; five grandchildren, Marissa LaPrarie, Alexis Pierce, Gavin Bennett Pierce, Lil Chris Pierce, and Reckon LaPrarie; sisters, Cynthia Adams (David) and Rachel Roszelle (Ricky); brother, Donald LaPrarie and fiancé Connie.
