Obituary for Chandler Keith Jenkins

Funeral services for Chandler Jenkins will be held at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, LA on Friday, February 25, 2022. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park. A time of visitation will be held at Gallagher’s beginning at 10 am until time of the service.

Chandler Keith Jenkins, 31 years old, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at his home in Pineville Louisiana.

Chandler was born March 8, 1990, to the union of Sidney Keith Jenkins and Angela Renee Wehrle in Alexandria, La. He was the older brother by 18 minutes to his twin sister Lauren. Chandler was a 2008 graduate of Pineville High School. He was a stellar baseball player for the Pineville Rebels. He attended the Galveston Community College on a baseball scholarship. Chandler was a faithful and hard worker for Decks Unlimited.

Chandler always had a twinkle in his eyes, a smile on his face and love in his heart. He was a loving and devoted dad to his beautiful daughter, Sidalee. She was his pride and joy. He was dearly loved by his mom, dad, and sisters.

Chandler was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gary and Jean Wehrle and his paternal grandmother, Bobbie Jean Jenkins; uncle, Robbie Williams.

Chandler is survived by his father, Sidney Jenkins, his mother, Angela Wehrle, his daughter, Sidalee Jenkins, his sisters, Jennifer Jenkins (fiancée Kyle Walker); Whitney Jenkins Willard (Trey) and Lauren Jenkins (fiancée Jacob Triebwasser). He is also survived by the mother of Sidalee, Elizabeth Jenkins and his stepdaughter, Georgia Stroud. He was an adored uncle to his two nieces, Rowan Willard and Sloane Willard. Chandler had many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who will miss him.

Pallbearers honored to serve are Drake Wehrle, Trey Willard, Nick Jenkins, Andy Schrock, Bobby Graham and Jo-el Juneau.

Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Wehrle, Josh Williams, Todd Crooks, Morgan Lindsey, Robert McDowell, Jacob Sinclair, Mollie McDowell, Jacob Boone, and Scotty Hale.
